A golden retriever named Honey got spooked during a hike and ran away from her owners, dragging her leash behind her. The leash eventually got snagged on a branch, but despite being only feet from the trail, Honey was out of sight, and her owners and others passed by her multiple times. Within minutes of being called in to search for her, Vermont Drone successfully located Honey and guided her owners to her.

The tail of a private plane that landed on and fell through the ice on Lake Champlain. Airbags were attached to the plane to prevent it from sinking. Vermont Drone located it and also periodically flew out to and documented the plane and the fuel slick while its recovery and clean-up were being arranged.
